About me
I am a member of the Celje Literary Society (Celjsko literarno društvo), I have been writing poems since my high school years, and later I also started writing short prose works-lines. I have published my poems in several literary magazines, and presented them at independent literary evenings and joint literary presentations. I also presented my autobiographical novel to the professional public and in the media.
By profession, I have a master's degree in science, marital and family therapy, a university graduate social worker, and a professor. I am also a supervisor for social protection and the president of the Sinergija Ljubljana Association.
I started writing when I was a teenager, first I started writing poetry, and later also short lines. I also liked to try my hand at journalism, writing cultural events for the Celje weekly Celjan. As a student, I preferred to write poetry on the train on the way to study Maribor. On the rare occasions when I ride with him, however, I still like to pick up the pen and pad that I always carry with me.
Prior to publishing my two poetry collections: Prerojena (Reborn) and V neskončnost-Infinity, and the autobiographical novel: In the Field of Freedom, I published in literary magazines: Litera, Mentor, Naši obrazi, and Vsesledje. I also organized some independent literary evenings in which I presented my poetry.
Only as a member of the Celje Literary Society (Celjsko literarno društvo), at the end of 2018, did I dare to publish my first collection of poems.
In my free time, in addition to writing, I like various forms of movement (yoga, meditation, running), and walks in unspoiled nature (forest, water) also have a very calming effect on me. However, I also like to travel to foreign countries, as I believe that getting to know different cultures is very important for expanding human horizons.
